AI transparency

Last updated: 2026-02-20

ReVerbal uses AI to support classroom accessibility through speech-to-text captioning and optional transcript summaries.

1. How AI is used

AI supports live classroom transcription and optional lesson summaries from transcript text.

2. What ReVerbal does not do

  • Build student or teacher profiles.
  • Monitor behaviour or device activity.
  • Store voice prints or perform biometric identification.
  • Use customer data to train third-party AI models.
  • Make administrative or disciplinary decisions.

3. Data handling

Teacher audio is sent securely for live transcription and is not stored by ReVerbal. Saved transcripts follow the documented retention policy.

4. Transparency and change management

ReVerbal publishes its subprocessors and data locations, and material changes to AI processing arrangements will be communicated to customers.
